 Applications are invited from Indian citizens for appointment for the following Group-A posts of Assistant Commandants in BSF :
  • Assistant Commandant (Works) : 19 posts, Qualification : Degree in Civil Engineering 
  • Assistant Commandant (Electrical) : 07 posts, Qualification : Degree in Electrical Engineering 
Age : 21-26 years

Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5400/-

Application Fee : Application should be accompanied by a Crossed Bank Draft / Indian Postal Order for Rs. 50/- only for Gen/OBC candidates as the examination fee in favour of  The Inspector General or
DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/ post office.

How to Apply : Application in the prescribed format should be sent designated officers as stated in the detailed advertisement on or before 30 days from the date of publication and 45 days of the publication from the candidates of far-flung areas (i.e. 05/12/2011  and 20/12/20110)
