- Senior Assistant (Subordinate Office): 61 vacancies in the Department of School Education
- Senior Assistant: 13 vacancies in the Department of Water Supply and Sanitation

- Pay Scale: ₹35400/- during the probation period of 3 years
- Qualification: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university or Institution (ii) At least One Hundred and twenty hours of course with hands-on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing Applications from a Government recognized institution or a reputed institution. OR Possesses a Computer Information Technology Course equivalent to 'O' level certificate (iii) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.
Application Fee
The Online Application charges are ₹500/- for all types of candidates and the examination fee is ₹1000/- (₹250/- for SC/ST of all states and OBC of Punjab state only, No fee for Ex-Serviceman, PWD/EDS and LDESM of Punjab state only) must be submitted online through any Branch of State Bank of India only.
Written Examination
The procedure for selection of candidates for the post of Senior Assistant (Group-B) will consist of a written examination comprising 120 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) questions (@ 4 marks for each question) of 480 marks (Questions from General Knowledge & Current Affairs - 80 questions of 320 marks, Questions from Logical Reasoning and Mental ability (Part B of Syllabus) - 40 questions of 160 marks). The exam will be of two (02) hours duration. The exact date shall be intimated shortly. There will be no personal interviews.
