    The selected candidates shall be required to execute a bond to serve the Board for a period of a minimum four years including period of training. The bond amount shall be Rs. 1,00000/-.

    Minimum Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry with minimum 65% marks from any recognised University. 10% relaxation in marks shall be given to SC/ST candidates of CG state. Candidates appearing in final examination can also apply.

    Candidate applying for the post of JE should be registered with Employment Exchange located in Uttaranchal.

    Educational Qualification:

    1. Assistant Engineer (Civil) : Bachhelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Govt. recognised institute/ university or equivalent or Associate Membership/ Membership in Civil Engineering from Institution of Engineers (I), with Section A & B Passed.
    2. Junior Engineers (Civil) : Diploma in Civil Engineering from Govt. recognised institute/ University.
    3. Junior Engineers (Mechanical) : Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from Govt. recognised institute/ University.

    Age (As on 01/08/2006) : Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years. Relaxation in the max. age for 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/ PH / Freedom Figheter dependants and Ex-serviceman. 10 years relaxation for 10 years for the post of JE for PH candidates.

    Selection Process: The selection will be made through written examination and interview. The written exam will consist of a single, objective type question paper of three hour duration.

    Centres for Exam: The written examination will be held at various centres at Dehradun, Haridwar, Pant nagar in Uttaranchal.
